We are honored to have and share our school horse, Reggie. He is a bright blood bay Morgan gelding registered as RG Sir Nibbish, foaled in '93, 16.1hh, and the KINDEST 4-legged we have ever met. He enjoys teaching beginners (those who have never met a horse before, even) how to halter, lead, and groom a horse. Under saddle he helps us teach a rider to steer, stop, and post on the correct diagonal as well educate those wanting to feel dressage movements such as shoulder-in, haunches in, half pass, reinback, and walk pirouette. He is worth his weight in gold and always seems to have room in his heart for one more friend.

The oldest of our personal horses is Slickers, a 15.1hh bright red chestnut Morgan gelding foaled in '88 registered as SWF Fires Lovesong. He competes successfully in Third Level Dressage and is the most AMBITIOUS horse we have ever known. He is also one of the most versatile as a trail horse, driving horse (cart or sleigh), jumper, and of course, best buddy. He is occasionally available to intermediate riders and is very light, balanced, sensitive, and fancy.

The Queen of the barn is Amethyst, whom we know as Emmy. She is a registered Morgan mare foaled in 2000 and is 15.2hh of red/brown/gold curves and mane, neck and strength. She is the most self-assured, level-headed, and HONEST horse we have ever worked with. We are grateful to her for the colt she presented us with April 2006 and look forward to dressage shows with her.

The would-be-KING of the whole farm is Fireman, Emmy's 2006 Morgan colt registered as KKM Millennium Fire. He is all redhead and watches all of us here with the "me next, I'm ready, and when is it my turn" eyes. They hold an entire future that we are very excited to be part of. With my arm hugging just behind his withers as he struts to pasture, I admire the view from behind his neck and ears and can only imagine what a ride that will be one day.
